LeeFest is an entirely non-profit festival.
Every penny you spend on tickets, drinks and merch is put back into the festival to help it grow and become even better, supporting more emerging artists and giving you a better party!
We also have a charity partner each year, that are given free reign of the festival for marketing and fundraising purposes, and are given a donation at the end from any surpluses in the festival kitty.
This year we’re very pleased to be supporting The Jimmy Mizen Foundation…
The Jimmy Mizen Foundation
The Jimmy Mizen Foundation works to build a legacy of peace in Jimmy’s memory and make young people safer. The Foundation runs programmes in schools, provides youth employment and work experience through its three cafes in Lewisham and has a Young Citizens group.
The Jimmy Mizen Foundation will have a setup at the festival with information, a message Photobooth and a ‘Wall’ collecting hand prints from the whole festival. This will then be hung pride of place in their new cafe.
Please go and check out what they are all about onsite, and if you like what they do help support their work.
In the past few years we’ve also donated to the fantastic Kids Company in support of their amazing work with under privileged children in London. Watch our short film of when Lee meets Camilla at Kids Company to find out more about their work.
